Introduction to flower arranging

Half day workshop

This workshop is perfect if you’ve never arranged flowers before or if you’d simply like a gentle, confidence‑building refresher.

During the session, we’ll explore:

  • Essential materials to get started,

  • How to care for and condition your stems so they stay fresh and look their best for longer,

  • The foundations of flower arranging including flower forms, colour, balance and texture — giving you the skills to create fabulous arrangements every time, and

  • How to arrange flowers in a vase, guided through each stage with clear, simple instruction.

You’ll leave with a beautiful seasonal vase arrangement you’ve created yourself, along with the confidence to continue arranging flowers at home.

Seasonal hand-tied bouquets

Half day workshop

Using beautiful seasonal blooms and a choice of textured foliage, we’ll dive straight into the skill most people find the trickiest — creating a true spiral hand‑tied bouquet.

I’ll guide you through the technique, showing you how to angle your stems, combine colours and shapes, so the bouquet comes together naturally in your hands.

You’ll create your own hand tied bouquet with support and learning the little tips that will make evening click. You’ll leave with a beautifully wrapped arrangement and the confidence to recreate at home.
